    1. I know, right? I was watching it and I promise you I was thinking. . . "Yes. This." Because a lot of that is what I wonder and think about at work. But on the busy days I don't do such a good job.

    1. Ha ha. . . don't blame me! Blame Chris A.! That's who provided me with the link in a comment from the last post. I'm so, so glad it was brought to my attention--even if it caused us to sniffle a bit.

P.S. I thought you calm, cool Canadians were stoic types! ;)

  3. Beautiful, just beautiful. I am glad Chris A brought this to your attention so you could share it with us. I was thinking about your prior email some more. I am an unusually empathetic person. I feel it is one of my best and worst qualities. I feel deeply but sometimes so much so that I can get sick myself. It's a fine line. I am wondering how you cope with that because you see such pain daily. S. Jo

  4. What a great reminder that we never know what the next person is going through. Thank you, Kimberly.

  5. From the deck of the Poop,

This is a great video! When I woke up this morning I was wondering if my dear friend that just received a terrible diagnosis was awake and thinking about his future. I hope that he is still asleep and sleeps until noon.

  8. Grady Doctor, I am so glad I could share this amazing piece with you. I am a Heart Mom (a mother of a child born with a heart defect) another Heart Mom sent it to me. So many of us have spent way too much time along side our children as they fight for their lives and fighting doctors, hospital and insurance companies for the care our children need to live.

I have told you before Grady Doctor you, with your wonderful heart, are what we would like all doctors to be.

I have another video to share - not on the same subject but also profound http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=3KyvlMJefR4

    with Hope,
    ~ Chris A ~
